Pastor Lindo’s tenure as pastor of Berea Seventh-Day Christian Church was during the period 1983 – 1984. Though this time was brief, it was quite impactful. To date, many of the seeds that were sown in the believers have germinated over the years, and have produced stalwarts who are now leaders in their own rights.

Pastor Clive Lindo focused on the total man. He inspired, motivated and encouraged his congregants physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

As an astute business man, his time and resources were always available to carry out the work of the Lord.

“Tough Times Never Last; Tough People Do”

Pastor Lindo was a dynamic teacher who understood the scriptures well, and could impart same with much enthusiasm. He was the first individual from this organization to attend Jamaica Theological Seminary (JTS).

Evangelism was Pastor Lindo’s passion. His greatest desire was to give Jesus to everyone. “Think Jesus” was his ongoing slogan.

Pastor Lindo was a great example of someone who did “not get weary in well doing” and thus, he lived and proved his message, “Tough Times Never Last; Tough People Do”.
